iPad Purchases
Museum departments may request TSS assistance to purchase iPads through a Computer Request in IT Support. Departments must provide an account code for purchasing the iPad(s). A minimum 3 years Applecare Warranty will be applied to the iPads at purchase, TSS can provide a quote for the full cost prior to the purchase.
TSS support is limited to iPads that have been determined to require Mobile Device Management (MDM). The iPad use case will determines if they are added to MDM and the devices will receive a basic level of support via MDM for remote erasure if lost or stolen.
If an iPad develops hardware issues, the department will be responsible for the delivery, pick up and additional repair costs at an Apple Store.
