I've connected to VPN but my WIFI indicates "No Internet"
When connected remotely using the the AIC network using the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client you will see the message, "No Internet, secured" per the screenshot below. Although it is not intuitive, this message does not indicate a lack of internet connectivity and is normal when using the AnyConnect application.
You can confirm whether you have a support issue by attempting navigate to any webpage using a web browser. If you cannot reach a known webpage (ex. artic.edu, apple.com or nytimes.com ) please call Technical Support Services at 312-499-4000 to report the problem and we'll do what we can to help resolve the issue.
