CITI Remote Access
To get the best performance from CITI while working remotely, you must initiate a VPN connection working in tandem with WTS-WORKSPACE. Connecting to the WTS server provides better performance by keeping the network traffic and processing load off of your laptop computer.
Essentially, all that is sent to your computer are pixels rather all of the bandwidth heavy data that may slow down your network connection and inhibit CITI performance.
A VPN Account Request can be submitted here.
Documentation on how to connect to WTS-WORKSPACE can be found here.
Please follow best these practices:
- Please quit the CITI application when not in use.
- Remote performance can be degraded by a slow network connection.
- Do not perform batch changes in excess of 100 records during business hours
- Do not export data sets greater than 200 records
- Image exports should not exceed a quantity of 50
- Do not create slide show using 50 or more images
- Log out of your CITI and WTS session when not actively using it.
It is important to follow these specific steps to end your WTS-Workspace session, as simply closing the window will not close your session completely and may hinder overnight updates to applications while your session is active.
